Michael Brown is Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Financial Services at Fortinet, where he serves as a senior level strategic business and technical advisor to Tier 1 financial services accounts. Prior to joining Fortinet, Brown held CISO and other executive leadership positions at several global financial services firms including Bank of New York, Nomura, and Royal Bank of Scotland. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and advisor to numerous industry organizations. Brown holds a Master’s degree in telecommunications from Pace University and is completing his second master’s degree in cybersecurity at Georgia Tech. He is also a veteran and served in the United States Navy.
