Patrick Thompson
Patrick Thompson is a veteran technology leader with 35-years of experience in technology leadership and consulting roles. He brings expertise in enterprise business digitization, turnarounds and integration management, operational improvement, and global business services automation. Most recently, at Albemarle Corporation, a global specialty chemicals manufacturing company, Patrick held concurrent leadership positions – Senior Vice President, Chief Information & Digital Transformation Officer, and Enterprise Transformation Office & Global Business Services Leader. He led the company’s digital transformation initiative, resulting in IT reaching Hackett’s IT Master Class benchmark and the Protiviti Top One Percent. Patrick has been named Hall of Fame CIO by CIO, Top 100 CIO by IDG, Computerworld Premier 100, Carolina ORBIE Global CIO of the Year, and Louisiana CIO of the Year. He currently serves on the advisory boards for WorkBoard, SAP, Salesforce, Moveworks, and OneVision Consulting.
