Before she established her career in executive search, Martha was Founder and Managing Director of IDG's CIO Executive Council, a professional organization for CIOs.
During her seven-year tenure at CIO magazine (IDG), Martha developed leadership programs for CIOs and directed the CIO Best Practice Exchange, a members-only network of IT leaders from top-tier organizations. Martha wrote a weekly column on IT leadership and led a series of executive events on IT staffing, career development, and leadership. Before CIO, Martha was an editor at Rutgers University Press.
Martha continues to engage with CIO audiences every day. She is author of The CIO Paradox: Battling the Contradictions of IT Leadership, and Be the Business: CIOs in the New Era of IT. She writes CIO.com’s Movers & Shakers blog, and her e-newsletter, The Heller Report, is read by thousands of IT professionals every week.
As a highly sought after keynote speaker on leadership and the CIO role, Martha has appeared at the Research Board, CIO Perspectives, MIT, Harvard University, SIMposium, the National Retail Federation, Cisco, Sprint, and ServiceNow. Each year, Martha serves on the judging panel for the TBM Awards and the CIO 100 Awards.
Martha received her B.A. in English from Hamilton College and her M.A. in English from SUNY Stony Brook. She lives near Boston with her husband, two children and their dog.

Prior to joining Heller Search, Carol Lynn was Director of Recruiting for the IT Leadership Practice at ZRG Partners where she honed her technology recruiting skills and led a team of IT recruiters. Previously, Carol Lynn was a director at Prestonwood Associates where she led national searches for Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to joining Prestonwood in 2000, Carol Lynn worked for Goodwin Procter LLP, a large, national law firm based in Boston. She held management roles within the human resources and litigation departments.
Carol Lynn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Boston College. She has previously served on the board of directors for a non-profit community service organization, and she is an active member in the Northeast Human Resource Association (NEHRA).

Steve has spent 20 years in the IT industry. He was one of the very first staff members at CIO magazine’s CIO Executive Council. Steve helped to define the Council’s CIO program offerings and recruited dozens of its founding members. With the program thriving in North America, Steve expanded the Council to the European CIO community.
Prior to the Council, Steve held consulting and sales roles in the IT professional services industry. Over more than a decade, he managed programs and client relationships on large systems integration, custom software and web development projects for client companies such as Kodak, Pfizer, EMI, Nikon, and Philips-van Heusen.
Steve earned a BA in Economics from Kenyon College in Ohio. He and his family live in Natick, MA.
Kelly has over 20 years of industry experience that includes both executive search and talent acquisition with a focus in technology.
Kelly joined Heller Search from Nuance Communications, a global technology company, where she spent ten years hiring executives and teams across the healthcare, mobile, enterprise and document imaging divisions, as well as all corporate functions.
Kelly was an integral member of the talent acquisition team that helped scale Nuance during a time of rapid growth from $200 million to $2 billion in revenue. She is passionate about talent advisement, delivering superior client value, providing a positive candidate experience, and building strong, long-term professional relationships with clients and candidates.
Prior to Nuance, Kelly worked for Pathways Personnel, a West Coast recruiting firm, where she was responsible for talent recruitment, business development, and client relationship management.
Kelly received a B.A. in English from Clark University. She and her husband reside North of Boston.

Brittany joined Heller Search as an Associate Recruiter, and earned a promotion to Recruiting Partner based on her professionalism and efficiency. She has been a key team member on a multitude of high profile IT leadership searches.Brittany came to Heller Search with an extensive background in corporate recruiting. She held the position of Recruiting Coordinator at Rocket Software, an infrastructure software company. Prior to Rocket, she was with Pegasystems, a business process management software firm, first as a Recruiting Coordinator and then as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Brittany excelled in these roles due to her strict attention to detail, and her commitment to providing a positive experience for every candidate.
As Recruiting Partner, Matt Tzuker is responsible for candidate outreach and development, and securing a high-quality slate of candidates on client executive search projects.
Matt brings a variety of experiences to his work at Heller Search, including seven years at the search firm Isaacson Miller, where he recruited executive leaders in academia and the non-profit sector. Prior to that, Matt worked as an Academic Advisor at Northwestern University and the University of Oregon. He also ran his own educational start-up.
Matt is known for his ability to quickly understand and express the culture and needs of a client organization as well as the strengths, motivations, and nuances of candidates. He earned an MA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Davis, and uses that training to effectively tell the stories of both clients and candidates. Matt also holds a BA in English from the University of Maryland and an MSEd in Education Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.
In his spare time, Matt writes fiction and he is currently working on a children's book series. He lives in Portland, Maine with his wife and two children.
As Associate Recruiter, Rodrigo Lizardo delivers critical support to candidates and the executive search team, and ensures that our clients receive the highest levels of attention and service. He is responsible for conducting industry and talent market research, editing candidate’s profiles and position descriptions, and coordinating candidate phone screen and interview schedules.
Rodrigo joined Heller Search with a background in technology recruiting. At Softworld Inc., a staffing firm specializing in IT, life sciences, engineering and finance, he held the position of Technical Recruiter. Prior to Softworld, he was Technical Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Acorio, a ServiceNow software consultancy. Rodrigo excels as a recruiting professional due to his rigorous work ethic, warm personality, and the ability to adapt to the fast-changing demands of each recruiting assignment.
Rodrigo earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fisher College in Boston, MA, and a Master’s degree in organizational psychology with a concentration in talent management and talent acquisition from William James College, Newton, MA.
As Associate Recruiter, Meagan McEachern provides critical support to candidates and the executive recruiting team, and ensures that our clients receive the highest levels of attention and service. She is responsible for conducting industry and talent market research, editing candidate profiles and position descriptions, and coordinating phone screen and interview schedules.
Meagan joined Heller Search with a background in human resources. Most recently, she held the position of Human Resources Representative at Dell EMC, where she handled HR-related queries for all employees throughout the United States and Canada. Meagan graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a BA in Human Development and a minor in Interpersonal Communication.
